Zoe Williams, Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist
Insight is good, but change is better! If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem or asserting yourself, you may have been "just living with it" for a while. Ask yourself: "How would my life be different if I didn't feel this way?" Seeking support can be a scary step, but when you are ready for change, it can be an enjoyable process, even when it is hard work or explores painful issues. We can work together to determine the best way to achieve your goals in a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental environment.
My special interests include treatment of anxiety disorders, including panic, OCD, specific phobias and social anxiety. I also specialize in therapy with Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender individuals and the surrounding issues of coming out, questioning, transitioning, family concerns, relationship dynamics and self-esteem.
While making change involves hard work and can sometimes be painful, I believe a sense of humor can have a place in therapy. After all, laughter is good medicine!
