Dr. Yanina Etlis, DO
Dr. Yanina Etlis graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. She completed her 3-year residency in Family Practice at the Peninsula Medical Center/North Shore/Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she received a comprehensive training in Primary Care and Family Practice. Board Certified in Family Practice since 2004, Dr. Etlis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association. She has attending privileges at NYU Langone Medical Center, South Nassau Community Hospital, Franklin Medical Center, St. John's Hospital and New Parkway Hospital. Dr. Etlis' expertise is in comprehensive women's health, including prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, menstrual dysfunction, screening and prevention of breast and cervical cancer, and diagnosis and treatment of metabolic syndromes and obesity. She also has extensive experience in screening patients who are at a high risk for stroke and heart attacks, as well as treating geriatric patients with multiple comorbidities such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, COPD, and Gastrointestinal disorders.
