Bar Beau
Once you walk past the unassuming coffee nook situated at the front of this cafe and bar by fashion veteran Claire Chan, you’ll discover a dramatically different aesthetic. Undulating curves finished in plaster give way to a soothing space, kitted out with a handsome quartz bar, dark wood ceiling, and low-slung banquettes. While the classic house tipples are terrific, the specialty drinks (including the So Sorry, a spirited blend of tequila, amaro, pineapple, and shiso) are Beau’s strong suit. Whatever you decide to drink, order some bar-friendly bites like the yuzu-laced deviled eggs and scallop corn fritters. And should you find yourself hungry (or yes, hungover) over the weekend, check out the recently-launched brunch. Whether you need a michelada or a burger, you’ll find a cure for what ails you.
