American Society-Hypertension
Founded in 1985, The American Society of Hypertension Inc. (ASH) is one of the largest organizations of hypertension researchers and health care providers in the United States. The organization has a domestic and international membership of basic science and clinical investigators, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists as well as individuals with a scientific interest in hypertension. It serves as a hypertension information resource and advocate for hypertensive patients. Additionally, The American Society of Hypertension Inc. operates as a collegial networking forum for domestic and international basic scientists and clinical investigators translating bench and clinical research findings for hypertension and its consequences into efficacious treatment strategies.
