Jack Choueka MD
Dr. Jack Choueka is the Chair of the Maimonides Bone & Joint Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Choueka completed his residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, and his fellowship at University of Chicago Hospital. Dr. Jack Choueka has received several research grants and continually presents his work at national and international meetings. He has published numerous articles on a variety of topics, including rotator cuff repair, flexor tendon repair, and new devices and techniques in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Choueka’s extensive knowledge of engineering allows him to provide his patients with the most advanced care and treatments available. His philosophy is to utilize any methods possible to avoid surgery for his patients. If surgery is necessary, microscopic procedures can be performed which allow patients to get their function back quicker. Dr. Choueka has received many honors throughout his career, and is a recent recipient of the Joseph H. Boyes Award for Excellence in Hand Research.
