- Come for the great produce at unbeatable prices. Stay for the collectivism and PA questions about “bone broth for cats”.
- Get the app, leave your member card at home. #walletminimalism
- Worth the monthly work shift. Produce, cheese, bulk grains/nuts, and beer are the best deals. If you can't find something, look up. They take advantage of vertical space
- The produce selection here is simply amazing. I've never had so much variety that I've felt obligated to try food that looked poisonous. Of course, those fruits were the best.
- Produce is ace, everything is seasonal and a lot is local. Cheese and bulk is great. Meat so-so. Lines and crowds painful. All worth the cheap prices and great quality! Oh and the beers are great
- 21% above wholesale prices, amazing produce, fun and connecting community shopping experience unlike any other food store!
- Love the organic strawberries and Honeycrisp Apples here as well as the fresh radishes and golden beets and fresh peas! Xx
- Come for the produce and cheese, stay for the pages on the loudspeaker.
- Try the Steve's caramel salt vanilla ice cream.. and the Mary's original glutenfree crackers made out of myriads of seeds
- Almond chocolate croissants....it’ll change your life.
- Northern Spy Food CoMarch 31, 2012Produce is fantastic, cheese shelf is meh, people are mostly pleasant, and the prices are stunning. Worth every minute of the monthly shift.
- Didn't realize that they DO have most things you need here (veggie peelers, electric toothbrush head refills, razors for ladies, etc)...when in doubt, look up above the aisles.
- The key to shopping here is understanding that there's never a good place to stand, and you're always in somebody's way.
- Hot Bread KitchenJanuary 17, 2012The Park Slope Food Coop has been around since 1973 and has over 15,500 members. Only members may shop at the co-op, but membership is open to all.
- Natalia QuinteroJune 14, 2012Definitely a must-join if you're looking for fresh food and a chance to be a part of the Park Slope community.
- Nawkole Jackson-FlemingOctober 19, 2013One of my favorite places to be...Quality healthy food choices. Nice diverse community...

- Legendary coop, amazing prices, community spirit, accessible.
- Alissa GreenJanuary 15, 2010Go to the Coop but make sure to look up -- there are tons of food items above your head! Skip the express line and bring 5-6 non-weighable items to the cashiers as they are always free.
- Best time to shop: Friday evenings after 8:00 pm. The shelves are fully stocked for the weekend and there are very few shoppers.
- So much good fresh produce, cheese, and many other things
- Inventory squad is a good way to find out what's in the store without the crowd.
- Work your shift, tolerate the craziness, skip the drama and stock up on the best produce.
- Think it's too crowded here? Come help start the new Greene Hill Food Coop in Clinton Hill! (Google "Greene Hill" for more info.)
- I keep forgetting how long the lines are on Saturday afternoons. They are crazy long.
- Don't listen to the naysayers! It's the best deal in town for local produce, gmo-free foods, veggie products & more!!
- Leave your kids in childcare upstairs (to feast on unlimited bagels) while you shop.
- Acacia Stevens MaurielloAugust 27, 2011Love it, but don't come on Sunday night unless you don't mind lines.
- Arabella HutterOctober 28, 2010The new Quorn products: cutlets. They're made with a fungi protein which is very healthy.
- The lines can be long and crowds frustrating, but the cheap prices and quality make it all worth it.
- You can make requests for items not already stocked by the coop
- Shop in the early morning on week days or Saturday nights to avoid the crowds.
